Our Marrakech to Fes 3 Day Desert Tour, start at 08:00 morning; we will pick up at the hotel or riad. We will head towards the High Atlas, the mountain range that separates the climatic conditions of the Sahara and the Mediterranean climate, we will stop to take pictures and enjoy what nature has to offer us.We will continue to the fortified city called Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1987 and where various famous movies have been made as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy …pass by the oasis of Skoura crossing the Rose Valley consists of hectares of roses, whose flavor is appreciated throughout the month of May. Here you can see beautiful scenery.
We will end up in the Dades Valley, weather and humidity give this place different vegetation where visitors can see a variety of amazing scenery. We will continue on river road entering the narrow valley. We will make a stop to enjoy it. Here you will have dinner and spend the night.
After a good breakfast, we will head into the next gorge called Todra Gorges. We will enjoy this lush landscape carved by the river, the road is barely 10 meters wide and 160 meters high.
We will continue through the palm Tinjdad, reaching the town of Erfoud and stopping at a workshop of fossils. Later we will arrive at Merzouga, where we leave the luggage at our hotel and head towards the dunes on camels, spending the night in the desert enjoying a wonderful evening. We will have dinner, music with drums and sleep in nomad tent.
After breakfast we will leave the desert and head back to Fez, crossing Midelt, located between the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas, we will stop for lunch and continue the route to the Ziz Valley, to admire the immensity of red gorges, clothing the large oasis and the beautiful villages and kasbahs.At this stage of the tour we will enter the Middle Atlas. A charming and totally different from the rest of Morocco, called Ifrane. It has a colder climate than the rest and a different European architecture.
Then we will head to Arzou where there are many extinct volcanoes, such as Jebel Hebri 2104 meters, among others. We will visit a forest of the oldest in this country full of cedars and very friendly monkeys, having the possibility to feed them. Later we will arrive in Fez, and here ends the route.
